"Making location count"

Open Geospatial Consortium
3d Geoscience, Borehole ad hoc

Wednesday 22 June 2016
hosted at the University College Dublin.

OneGeology Consortium and IUGS/CGI invite you to an ad hoc meeting during the OGC TC meeting in Dublin.

Efficient management of 3D geological information, including boreholes and 3D models, has become a strategic issue for many stakeholders producing or using geological information: geological surveys, research organisations, mining, oil and gas, groundwater, infrastructures, smart cities,…

This meeting will draw together stakeholders to review the community needs and requirements, existing standards and to discuss about opportunities to develop joint initiatives that could include interoperability experiments or creation of OGC working groups if required.

The meeting will have contributions from diverse projects and organisations.
